About Music-Kids
Music-Kids is based in Edinburgh and offers music classes
for children with additional support needs of all ages.
The classes are taken by Julia McCabe who has a degree in special needs music teaching and
speech therapy. She has worked with children and adults with additional support needs for the
last 9 years. She has worked as both classroom and music teacher in special schools.
Music-Kids classes nurture skills in the whole child: cognitive, physical, social, emotional,
and language.
In a Music-Kids class Julia leads a group of children (and sometimes their parents) through joyful
activities, using music and movement.Parents learn more about their child's unique developmental
process,and the shared learning experience creates a unique bond as the child associates learning
with fun, musical play.
